SuperEko is an alkaline phenol resin hardened with CO2.
Resin SuperEko is used to produce cores for cast iron and cast steel castings. Resin SuperEko is used as the only component of moulding sands and core sands. Moreover, short hardening time allows to use this resin for lot production of cores. Depending on base type and grain size, amount of added resin should range from 2.2 to 3.2 parts by weight. Resin SuperEko ensures good knock-out properties and very high casting surface quality. Cores should be stored no longer than for 24 hours.
